The Batas Batu Post, which has a Medical Team, immediately responded to the arrival of the residents, Ester Kogoya and Ezer Kogoya, accompanied by their families, by conducting an examination and treatment. This initiative was not just about the Soldiers’ commitment but also about the resilience and unity of the Delpel community in the face of challenges.

The Soldiers also fostered communication and interaction with the residents during the treatment. This interaction not only provided the Soldiers with updates about the security conditions in the Delpel Village but also brought a smile to residents’ faces. After the treatment, the Medical Team provided the residents with free medicine for the next few days to aid their recovery. Ester expressed her joy, overwhelmed with gratitude, saying, “Thank you, Commander 503. I feel healthier now. God bless.” This moment of joy and relief for the residents is a testament to the impact of the Task Forces’ initiative on the individuals.

After receiving the activity report, the HABEMA Commanding General, Brigadier General Lucky Avianto, acknowledged the 503 Task Forces’ initiative to help treat Delpel residents. His words: “The 503 Task Forces’ initiative is a testament to TNI’s commitment to helping the residents with difficulty in the health sector to support the acceleration of development in the Papua region.” This acknowledgment from the highest authority in HABEMA underscores the significant impact of such initiatives on the region’s development.
